Google Search Console
See which keywords drive organic traffic
Overview
Google Search Console (GSC) integration lets you see which search queries drive organic traffic to your site. Combined with Loamly's visitor tracking, you can understand the full journey from keyword to conversion.
With GSC connected, you can see:
- Which keywords bring visitors to your site
- Impressions, clicks, and average position for each keyword
- How organic traffic converts compared to AI traffic
- Keyword trends over time
Connect your account
- Go to your Loamly dashboard → Installation or Settings → Integrations
- Find Google Search Console and click Connect
- Sign in to your Google account if prompted
- Grant Loamly permission to read your Search Console data
- Select the property (site) you want to connect
Permissions
Loamly requests read-only access to your Search Console data. We cannot modify your Google account or Search Console settings.
What data is synced
Loamly syncs search performance data daily. This includes:
- Keywords: The search queries that returned your site in Google results
- Impressions: How many times your site appeared in search results
- Clicks: How many times users clicked through to your site
- Position: Your average ranking position for each keyword
- Pages: Which pages on your site rank for each keyword
Data is synced once per day. There may be a 2-3 day delay from Google before data appears.
Keyword attribution
GSC data appears in your Loamly dashboard alongside visitor data. You can see:
- Top keywords driving traffic to your site
- Keyword performance trends (impressions, clicks, CTR, position)
- Compare organic traffic performance against AI-driven traffic
Data availability
Google Search Console data has a 2-3 day delay. The most recent data you'll see is from a few days ago.
Troubleshooting
No data appearing
If you don't see any keyword data after connecting:
- Wait 24 hours for the first sync to complete
- Make sure your site has verified ownership in Google Search Console
- Check that your site has search traffic in GSC (new sites may have no data yet)
Connection errors
If you see a connection error:
- Try disconnecting and reconnecting
- Make sure you're signed into the correct Google account
- Verify you have access to the Search Console property you want to connect
Disconnecting
To disconnect Google Search Console:
- Go to Settings → Integrations
- Click Disconnect on the GSC card
- Syncing will stop, but historical data will be retained
